Meditation: How NOT To Do It
We tend to think of meditation as something to do. So we schedule it in our day, feeling even more stressed in trying to complete it. Because we’ve been told it should be relaxing, we fight our way through, often failing and therefore discontinuing the practice. What if meditation isn’t about having a good experience at all, but about meeting ourselves where we’re at? There’s nothing to do but watch our mind and have a break from all other activities. In meditation, there’s nothing to fix or achieve. It’s a practice of non-doing. This emptiness can be daunting because our sense of self is built on constant doing, on proving that we matter. That’s why we’re guided by Fritz, who has stayed in monasteries practicing meditation since the age of 9. He has guided hundreds of people to liberate their mind and create their most meaningful work. Fritz is also a qualified transformational coach and facilitator. Find out more at fritzlensch.com.
